I spent five years running my own freelance design practice — cold outreach, first conversations, drawing requirements out of owners who couldn't describe their own process, then turning that into scope, quote and delivery.

Then a year as a UI/UX designer inside a company, still sitting in on client requirement conversations and proposals.

Over the past year I've taught myself ERPNext and Odoo, and built two implementations end to end — requirement mapping, configuration, roles and permissions, workflows and reporting. I'm now moving that same work toward ERP presales and implementation: understanding a business well enough to show them the system that fits, then building it so people actually use it.
